Quality & assurance

Quality built into every stage.

Inspection is integrated with manufacturing and rebuilding so materials, dimensions, workmanship, performance and release documents are verified, not assumed.

Certified standards

A documented management system.

Certification supports repeatable controls across engineering, production, inspection, workplace safety and continual improvement.

Quality management system

ISO 9001:2015

Documented processes for consistent delivery and continual improvement.

Occupational health & safety

OHSAS 18001:2007

Structured controls supporting responsible and safer industrial operations.

Four inspection gates

Evidence follows the product.

Each gate answers a different quality question: from whether the incoming material is correct to whether the finished cylinder performs and is documented for release.

  1. 01

    Incoming verification

Material specifications and mill certificates are checked before production.

  2. 02

    In-process inspection

Dimensions, surface condition and workmanship are verified through the build.

  3. 03

    Performance testing

Hydrostatic, leakage and functional movement tests confirm operation.

  4. 04

    Documented release

Inspection and supporting documents are reviewed before dispatch.

Inspection & testing

Checks matched to the production stage.

In-process controls protect the build while final testing verifies the completed cylinder before release.

During production

In-process quality control

  • Incoming material verification against mill test certificates
  • Stage-wise dimensional inspection using bore gauges and micrometres
  • Surface roughness checks on rods and bores
  • Non-destructive testing using UT and DPT where applicable
Before release

Testing before dispatch

  • Hydrostatic pressure testing at 1.5× rated working pressure
  • Leak testing under sustained pressure
  • Full-stroke and functional movement testing
  • Test certificate issued with every cylinder
Cylinder rebuilding

The same discipline applies to returned equipment.

Rebuilding begins with failure evidence and measured condition, then progresses through corrective work, seal selection and full re-testing.

  1. 01

Complete failure analysis and inspection on receipt

  2. 02

Wear and damage assessment against acceptable tolerance limits

  3. 03

Precision re-honing and re-chroming where required

  4. 04

Seal replacement using application-matched high-performance seals

  5. 05

Full re-testing before the cylinder returns to service

Documentation & traceability

Records complete the release.

New and rebuilt cylinders are dispatched with supporting quality documentation so plant teams can retain evidence for maintenance and critical operations.
